Get Over The Hump: What I Love Wednesday

After the long weekend (or week off) that we just finished, it seems like this week may never end. I don't know about all of you, but we're pretty exhausted over here. How are you making over the hump this week?

What I Love Wednesday

Hey friends, it's already Wednesday! WhoooHooo! The Hubs and the kiddos had Monday off in observance of Veterans day (did you?) so the week should just fly by. Hopefully.
Here are some of the things that I'm loving this week:

My new iPhone case. I just love Disney, and Snow White is my fave princess. So when I saw this, I just knew I needed to have it!

Next, I love this great recipe that I found thanks to Love With Food (which I also love). I recently had my first Monte Cristo sandwich at Disneyland and It. Was. Incredible. This is definitely a treat for a "no diet" day, but glad to have it in the books!

I love that I'm going to a Breaking Dawn viewing event on Friday night. Can't wait!!

And because it's that time of year again... time to start watching a few of my favorite Christmas movies! This would include about 9,000 viewings each of Elf and The Polar Express. Eeeek! Love it!
Cumorah at Simply Cumorah shared this great printable quote from Buddy the Elf, and I'm pretty much going to have to frame it.

And how absolutely charming is this sweet sentiment from The Polar Express? It's taking a lot of self control for me to not order it right now. But I still might...

And finally, I am loving my 20th Anniversary Edition copy of The Christmas Box. More about that coming in the near future.

What I Love Wednesday!

Good Morning my friends! I hope that you are all having a great week. Let's get over the hump together with What I Love Wednesday! (And, for anyone who read yesterdays post, I'd like to let you know that your prayers and positive thoughts were appreciated, and that Little Lady's MRI Results came back "normal". Thank you!!)

First off, I love that I'm going on a field trip with Big Boy's class to the Discovery Science Center (The Science Cube). How fun does this place look?

I also love that we'll be going to Disneyland tomorrow! It'll be the first time we get to see the new Cars Land over at DCA.

I love this spoon, because it made me laugh.

What I Love Wednesday

Well, what do you know? It's Wednesday again! Time for a round up of greatness to get us through the day and over the hump!

A few things I love this week:

Pumpkin Spice Caramel Corn.
Seriously, people. This junk is tasty! {And not TERRIBLE in the calorie department either.} I picked some up at Target yesterday. I'm glad that I did! You should probably grab a bag or twenty for yourself also.

The next thing I love right now are these Pumpkin Muffins. So what if it's 102 degrees outside right now? It's technically Fall, and I have a new oven, so I made them, darnit! I was on Pinterest, and found this great recipe pinned from Sweet Verbena. So yummy. I'm looking forward to trying some variations of this recipe too!

And here's a recipe for Slow Cooker Pumpkin Butter from Baked Bree that I can't wait to try!! It looks so delicious, and easy peasy! (Oh, and I'm obsessed with both pumpkin and apple butter, so why not make my own?)

I am also loving this post about "Manager Meetings" from Kinda Crazy Semi-Organic. It's certainly something that I will consider. Starting... NOW!!

SUPER LOVE this blog post The Mom Stays In The Picture. Heartfelt and beautiful.

Next, I LOVE that Saturday is the Worldwide Day of Play!!! What's that mean? GO PLAY!! Young and old and everyone in between are encouraged to get out and PLAY on Saturday. So, What will you do?!

What I Love Wednesday

It's Hump Day again!  My week has been too busy to be dragging by, so I'll be over this hump in no time! How about you? Has the first week of Fall been treating you alright?

I'm loving a lot of things this week, so I'll probably not share all of them. But here's some things I love right now.

Salted Caramel. This isn't new to this week, I've been kinda obsessed for a while now. Obviously I'm not the only one since it seems to be everywhere these days. But over the last week I did indulge in the new Salted Caramel treats from Starbucks. YUM. 

I especially love CHOCOLATE Salted Caramel. Because... what's not to love?

Those Salted Caramel cake pops may be one of the most fabulous treats to hit my mouth in a while. Fabulous. Have you had one yet? No?! Go Get One Now!!!

Ok, moving on here. Because this isn't actually a post about Starbucks Salted Caramel. I promise.

I stumbled upon this tree skirt from Done Over Decor on Pinterest, and I simply adore it. This MUST happen in my house this year. And what's even better? No sewing! Ha! Love it!

 Now, take a look at this Backyard Pantry and tell me you don't want one. I'm drooling over it. Brilliant!

And here is a genius idea for not only your teething baby, but I'm pretty sure the older kids would love it too!

I am loving our slightly cooler days. I wonder if they'll stick around for a while, or if we'll have another heat wave. The afternoons are still pretty hot, but the evenings and mornings are so nice! It feels a little bit like Fall. Which has me burning Fall candles, and I do love that! I'm getting more delivered today, and that makes me happy. I love my Gold Canyon!

I have children to get ready for school now, and appointments and housework and all of that {Not So} Glamorous stuff to do, so I had better end it there. But quickly, I just also want to share a bit of joy with you all. Today is "Gotcha Day" for a friend of mine who is very dear to my heart, and her family. Today, they will welcome a sweet baby girl into their home, and that little girl couldn't be blessed with a more wonderful family! CONGRATULATIONS to them!

Hello my Hump Day friends! I feel like I reached hump day pretty quickly this week, what about you? I get to watch my precious little niece today, so I'm excited about that for Hump Day. Man, she is adorable!
I think I'll make my kids pancakes this morning. Even The Littles could use some help getting over the hump!

What I Love Wednesday

Oh yay! The week is half way over, and my kiddos and I are getting over the hump! Working some bugs out this week with school/homework, and if all goes well, it will be blog~post~worthy!

Let's get this started!
First things first: I would LOVE to put this turkey on my Thanksgiving table. You have to check it out. This is a great way to have a laugh on Hump Day!

These gloves. Oh, these gloves. I adore them. So... "Jackie O". Gorgeous.

I think this is a gorgeous way to use candy corn. I hope the 99¢ Store will have some this year!

This pork chop recipe from Living, Laughing & Loving looks so delicious. I think it'll go on my meal plan this week!

What a great cleaning tip from The V Spot! I'll have to try this one soon!

I adore this classy ensemble. And (aside from the shoes) the price is great!

And finally, I can't wait to go here to get some great apples, cider, pie and fun! Only about 10 mins from my house and one of my fave places on earth.

Today I am loving that I am finally starting to feel a little bit normal. Wow, that sickness totally kicked my butt!

I also love this DIY Glitter Play Dough! I love all variations of  Play Dough, so this one we'll have to try soon!

What I Love Wednesday

Happy Hump Day my Friends!! Are you all making it through the week alright? I've been cleaning my house like a madwoman all week (What?! Really? Me?) and waking up early in preparation for Back to School.
And because I've been waking up early, I've been drinking quite a bit of coffee. So, of course I'd need to participate in the For the Love of Coffee Link Up, hosted by the fabulous Dillon sisters (here and here).
Because this is What I Love Wednesday, I'll start by saying:
I LOVE Coffee. There is probably no other single product that helps me get through my days. (White Zin and Zoloft might be close runners up...) With three kids, a house to maintain, Dr/therapy appointments to get to, and school obligations... coffee helps me hold it together. I take mine with just enough milk and one packet of Splenda. (sometimes I use half and half instead of milk, but that's a splurge for me!)

My Big Boy saw these pics and told me to edit my hair because I had bed head. Seriously?!
I told him I didn't have to because I was still drinking coffee.
