June Gloom

Here in the "Inland Empire" of Southern California, we get something that we refer to as "June Gloom". It's a frequent occurrence, during the month of June as we transition into Summer. Overcast mornings, that often don't burn off, and leave us with gray, chilly days.

We didn't have much of it this year. It appears that our "June Gloom" has rolled into July (which has been very mild so far). I suppose it's because we had an extra long winter this year... you know, with "El Nino" and all. So I think we are about a month behind on our seasons here in SoCal. This leads me to believe that we are going to have a scorching hot September and October.
